EDU80018 · Exploratory pilot
Literary Interpretation Planning Study
Help examine whether a bounded GenAI planning protocol supports textually grounded, independently reasoned literary interpretations among Australian pre-service teachers.
What participation involves
You will analyse two purpose-written poems. One task uses structured independent questioning; the other begins independently and then uses one fixed ChatGPT prompt. Each task ends with a 50–80-word mini-analysis, followed by a brief comparison.
- Complete the study in one sitting and do not refresh the page.
- Use only the supplied poem and instructions.
- There are no predetermined “correct” interpretations.
- Your task order is allocated automatically to balance the study.
Consent and data handling
This is a small coursework pilot for EDU80018, not a validated classroom intervention. Participation is voluntary and will not affect your studies. Results will be discussed in aggregated or de-identified form.
The research dataset does not ask for names, email addresses, usernames, student numbers, or IP addresses. Hosting services may generate routine security logs separately; these will not be accessed or analysed for the assignment. Do not include identifying information in any written response or ChatGPT prompt.
